1. Area of application

These general terms and conditions are in force as of March 22, 2023 and will apply until the end of the event that will take place in the cities of Cádiz and Jerez de la Frontera from June 5, 2023 to June 9, 2023, by part of the organization of the 44th World Congress of Vine and Wine in which conferences, exhibitions, symposiums, workshops, technical visits, etc. specified in the program will be held, as well as the rest of the additional services and goods provided in relation to said events by the organization.

These general terms and conditions are regularly reviewed and may be updated from time to time. We will post such updates on this web page.
Acceptance of these general terms and conditions implies acceptance on your behalf and on that of all persons on whose behalf you make the reservation.

2. Event venues.

The event will have two venues, which will take place at the Palacio de Congresos de Cádiz, located at Calle Plocia, s/n (11006 Cádiz), and at the Jardines de la Atalaya de Jerez de la Frontera on Calle Cervantes, 3 (11403, Jerez de la Frontera), among others.

The registration contract will be completed after receiving the corresponding payment, for the indicated amount. By registering you agree that you are authorized to bind to these general terms and conditions all the people included in your group reservation in case of buying by third parties. The person who makes the registration is fully and exclusively responsible for the accuracy of all the data that he records. It is essential that you review the registered data, and you must notify the organization of any errors detected.
The registrations will be carried out according to the order of registration until full capacity is reached. Once the capacity is complete, a waiting list will be enabled.

3. Modifications, suspension or cancellation of the event.

The organization reserves the right to introduce any changes in the program related to reasons such as the impossibility of attending the speakers or causes of force majeure, which will not give the right to a refund of the tickets.

The cancellation of any of the speakers for reasons beyond the control of the organization will not give the right to a refund of the entry fee, since the appearance of a specific speaker or author is not an essential condition of the offer of a Congress, but rather the existence of a varied number of activities, conferences and workshops that will make up the global program of the Congress. However, the organization will make its best efforts to prevent said cancellation from creating an inconvenience for those attending the Congress, such as, among others, reorganizing the schedule or replacing the canceled author or speaker with another speaker or author.

The organization undertakes to refund the amount of the ticket in the event that all the conferences, activities and workshops that make up the Congress program are cancelled. In this case, the organization will have a period of fifteen working days from the date of public communication of cancellation to proceed to refund the registration fee under the conditions that will be published on the website www.oiv2023.es. The organization will not be responsible for other costs or losses that the participant may incur, such as transportation, accommodation, maintenance, etc.

4. Registration fee.

The registration fee includes attendance at conferences, workshops, tours and events as described in the registration purchased. The registration fee does not cover travel or lodging expenses.

When the payment has been successfully processed, the registered person will receive a confirmation by email.

5. Cancellation and refund policy.

The fact of not being able to attend the entire event, whatever the reason, does not exempt from full payment of the fee nor will it give rise to any refund of said service. The registrant who cannot attend the congress, has the option of sending a substitute who must provide the organization with the registration data, not having the right to reimbursement in the event that said alternative is not possible.

6. Registration and Information during the Congress.

During the Congress, there will be a desk for the distribution of accreditations, as well as to answer any questions to attendees.

7. Loss of or damage to property that you bring with you.

The registrant will assume the risk of damage or loss of objects on display or other elements, including personal property, brought to the event rooms. The Congress organization assumes no responsibility for loss, destruction or damage to such objects.

8. Privacy Policy.

We inform you that, in accordance with the applicable laws and regulations, and in particular with the General Data Protection Regulation of the European Union and Organic Law 3/2018, on the Protection of Personal Data and Guarantee of Digital Rights, your personal data are included in a file for which the organization is responsible.
