Felix Solis Ramos

Félix Solís Ramos has been Director of Exports and Marketing of Félix Solís Avantis since 2001. He has a degree in Economics and Business Administration from the Universidad Autónoma de Madrid and an MBA in Business Administration from IESE. Before joining the family company he worked in the Marketing and Customer Department at Carrefour Spain.

Since joining the company, Félix has played a fundamental part in the growth and development in international markets, which as of today accounts for 65% of the business amounting to a total of 360 million euros last year. Under his direction, Félix Solís Avantis has strengthened and consolidated its export strategy and is present in more than 115 countries, managed through a commercial network of 11 international subsidiaries. It is also worth noting the strong commercial impulse in key international clients in the Food channel.

In the area of marketing and communication, fundamental brands for the company have been consolidated, such as Viña Albali, Los Molinos, Altos de Tamarón, Blume, and Mucho Más, which are not only notable assets for the company but also benchmark leaders in their respective denominations of origin and segments. The drive for innovation with new launches, as well as digitization processes have been constant in this area.

Among other aspects worth mentioning, the 2012 Meininger Prize awarded by the Wine Sector in Germany stands out, as International Entrepreneur of the year for his commercial work carried out with Viña Albali in the global market.

Felix is a member of the family Board of Directors, led by his father Félix Solís Yañez, together with his three uncles: Pedro, Juan Antonio y Manuel Solís Yañez.
