Richard Cochrane

He began his career in the wine industry in 1991 at Leo Buring in the Barossa Valley and has worked producing both Northern and Southern Hemisphere vintages. After Oxford University, Richard worked in fine wines, followed by London On Trade with Boutinot, before moving on to UK Off Trade, with Berkmann Wine Cellars. 12 years with Bibendum Wine Limited, and as Commercial Director he led a team of 150 people covering all market segments in the UK and Europe. In 2013, he was asked by Felix Solis to set up a UK subsidiary for his family wine business. Today this company represents 37.9% of the UK Spanish wine sector and Richard has helped forge several innovation projects, including disruptive growth brands such as Guv'nor.
